John 6:64-66

⁶⁴ But some of you don’t believe.” ([^LFor] Jesus knew from the beginning who did not believe and who would ·turn against [betray] him.) ⁶⁵ Jesus said, “That is the reason I said, ·‘If the Father does not bring a person to me, that one cannot come.’ [^L‘No one can come to me unless the Father enables/grants him.’]”

⁶⁶ After Jesus said this, many of his ·followers [disciples] ·left him [^Lturned back to previous things] and ·stopped following [^Lno longer walked with] him.
